What to know about the audit process and the third party platform

Modified on Thu, 29 Jan at 12:45 PM

When you complete your self assessment, you may be able to submit your information and complete an audit on the new standards.

B Lab has partnered with third party auditors which will use a third party platform for the verification process.

Here’s what you need to know:

Provide all relevant documentation for the self assessment in B Impact. See How to upload documentation in the Self assessment for more information.

This is a crucial step, as it will reduce the need to upload initial evidence in the third party platform and ensure that all necessary documentation is available to the audit team in order to move to the next steps of the audit when you have confirmed your readiness to do so.

Providing evidence in B Impact ensures the company will not be immediately considered to have non conformities when moved over to the third party auditing platform.

B Lab takes data privacy seriously and ensures that the transfer of data complies with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use. As part of the transfer of data, you will receive a B Lab agreement which outlines the use of your documentation and evidence provided by our third party auditor.
