What are the audit stage wait times?

Audit stage wait times vary by assurance provider (AP). TO-CERT services smaller companies, while SCS Global Services services Medium to XXL companies. Refer to the table below for estimated wait times for each stage in the audit process, per assurance provider.

From start of communication with AP to opening meeting being scheduled 
The audit is scheduled only when the service agreements are signed and the Audit Plan is agreed upon.

From closing meeting to receiving the Audit Report
APs have 30 days to issue the Audit Report after the closing meeting. *The 10-day limit for the audit (opening to closing meeting) only applies to headquarter audits. B Lab's normative documents do not specify the length of site reviews.

Opening meeting to receiving the Certificate of Conformity

Depends on the nonconformities: 
Zero non-conformities: 30 calendar days

Minor non-conformities: 70 calendar days

Major non-conformities: 190 calendar days
