The B Impact Assessment is a digital tool that can help measure, manage, and improve positive impact performance for environment, communities, customers, suppliers, employees, and shareholders; receiving a minimum verified score of 80 points on the assessment is also the first step towards B Corp Certification. 

How do I register?

Step 1: Visit the B Impact Assessment webpage from the B Lab global website

Step 2: Select the option [Start Your Assessment] and it will take you to the BIA registration page

Step 3: Enter all the required user information and check the box to agree to the Privacy Policy and the Terms of Use. Then you can click on the option to [Sign up].

• The required personal information includes: your First Name, Last Name, Email Address, Password and preferred language. Our language options include English, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, and French

Step 4: Enter all the required information related to your company headquarters:

• Enter your company's name, select your company's location, and the last fiscal year end date.

Step 5: Select all the required information related to your company industry:

• Select your company's sector, category and corresponding industry.

Step 6: Select all the required information related to the size of company:

• Select your company's number of employees and your position at the company

Once you select the option [Get Started] your sign up process is completed and you will land on the dashboard menu of your BIA.

The Assessment is intended to be used by ANY for-profit businesses entity.
Although the Assessment is not suited to measure the impact of non-profit organizations, real-estate development projects, governments, or other entities that are not operating as an individual businesses, there are many ways these institutions can interact with the B Impact Assessment.
