The B Impact Assessment is a digital tool that can help measure andmanage businesses’ impact performance to improve outcomes for all stakeholders. , The tool is a free resource to help organizations measure their impact and is the first step in becoming a Certified B Corp. Keep reading to find out how you can register. 

How do I register?

Step 1: 

Visit the B Impact Assessment webpage from the B Corp website.

Note: Several Global Partners have websites that also serve as a launching point for the  B Impact Assessment. Visit this link to see a list of Global Partner websites.

Step 2: 

Select the option “Start Your Assessment”  to go to the BIA registration page

Enter your email address and choose a password.

Step 3:

Enter the required user information such as your first and last name, and preferred language. Language options include English, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, and French.

Check the boxes to agree to the Privacy Policy and the Terms of Use, and optionally,   marketing email communications from B Lab Global. Then, select “Register.”

The platform will automatically confirm if you have successfully verified your email address.

Step 4: 

Indicate whether you are interested in certification in the question Does your company plan to become a Certified B Corporation?

Step 5: 

Enter information about your company for company registration:

• Enter your company’s legal name, website, and  country of incorporation.

• Select your company's industry category and corresponding industry.

• Enter details about your role at the company – the department, and your position. Once you select “Complete registration,” your sign-up process is completed and you will land on the dashboard menu of your B Impact Assessment.
