Guide to Conducting a GHG Inventory

The Greenhouse Gas Protocol, the result of a partnership between the World Resources Institute (WRI) and the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD), is a global organization that sets the standards to measure and manage greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. This report, originally compiled in 2004 and revised in 2015, provides an extensive overview of the process of conducting a GHG inventory and how to specifically tailor it to your business. While useful in its entirety, users looking to save time should navigate to chapters 2-4, 6, and 11, or review the FAQs on pg. 5.
