How to Filter Questions in the B Impact Assessment

Modified on Mon, 06 Jun 2022 at 04:25 PM

The B Impact Assessment is an in-depth and comprehensive survey, with up to 250 weighted and unweighted questions across different operational Impact Areas and Impact Business Models . The expansiveness of the assessment can make it challenging to focus on a particular question or set of questions. The Question Filter is a useful tool within the B Impact Assessment that can be used to view a specific subset of questions (for example, view all low-scoring questions in the Environment Impact Area).

What is the Question Filter?

The Question Filter allows one to view and filter questions within the B Impact Assessment by different question attributes. These attributes include, but are not limited to:

How Do I Find the Question Filter?

After logging into your company’s B Impact Assessment, navigate to the tab called “Question Filter” on the left-hand side menu.

Once you are on the page, navigate to the right side of the top panel to the “Filter” option.

How Do I Use the Question Filter?

Clicking on “Filter” will open a menu of different assessment components and question attributes that can be used to filter questions, on the right-hand side of the page.

You can use the Filter menu to select and view a particular subset of questions that meet multiple criteria. For example, if you want to view all Operations questions that are scoring more than 1 point, select “Operations” under Question Type, and enter the value 1 for minimum points earned under the Points tab. This function will display all Operations questions in which your company has scored over 1 point. If you want to check whether any Impact Business Model (IBM) questions were left unanswered, select “IBM” under Question Type, and select “Unanswered” under the Attributes tab.

The Question Filter can also be used to view your company’s old or inactive assessments, if applicable.
