How do we complete our 2019 Inclusive Economy Challenge report?

The following are instructions for 2019 Inclusive Economy Challenge (IEC) participants to report out progress made in pursuit of their IEC goals. Companies that have made progress towards at least one goal will be celebrated as an Inclusive Economy Changemaker, so be sure to update your progress!

Overview: 

Login to your B Impact Assessment > navigate to Goals > click on any IEC goal to updated it. 

We ask that you take three steps to update each goal.

1. Update the description in the text box.

2. Update your answer option, if applicable.

3. Save or Mark Complete.

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Login to your B Impact Assessment and navigate to the “Goals” section from the left hand menu. Any goal you set as part of the Inclusive Economy Challenge will be tagged with this symbol

Click on any IEC goal to provide an update. We ask that you take three steps to update each goal.

1. First, provide us with a written update in the text box. If you had previously written a description, don’t delete it! Keep any original content, then add a brief update of your progress towards this goal.

2. Update your answer choice to reflect your progress (if applicable).

3. Choose to “Save” or “Mark Complete”.

                -> Save if you’d like to save your progress but have the ability to edit this goal in the future.

                -> Mark Complete if you have met your goal.

FAQ

What about Custom Goals? For custom goals, please keep your original description but provide a written update underneath it in the text box. 

How will I know that I’m finished? If you’ve marked all of your goals as “complete”, you will see them under the “Completed” section in your Goals view. If you Saved your goals, they will still appear under the “In Progress” section, but we will be able to see your progress from your answer choices or written update.

Does this message indicate that I’m all set? Unfortunately, you may see the following message when logging into your BIA. Please disregard this, it’s a technical error we couldn’t solve for and does not indicate anything about your progress or completion of the challenge.

Will my progress update be verified? Please note that progress reported is not verified and therefore companies will not see applicable score improvements until a company’s next re-certification.

What will happen to my goals after the challenge? The IEC Metric Set and any goals set will continue to be accessible in the B Impact Assessment after the Challenge concludes.
